The Condenser Unit Failed

As I was cleaning my house the other day, I thought I heard a different sound, then i paused my rock n roll and listened carefully for another sound! After resting in silence for a few moments, I resumed my rock n roll and returned to my cleaning.

  • 30 minutes later, I began to sweat and I could feel my cheeks getting rosey.

Initially, I thought that I was cleaning entirely hard… However, When I walked by the temperature control, I saw that it was reading at a entirely high temperature! I had set the temperature to 76 degrees, but the actual temperature of my house was 69 degrees. I was concerned that it had something to do with the loud sound that I heard earlier, so I made the decision to call the local HVAC business. I didn’t know the first thing about HVAC systems, and I knew that I wouldn’t be able to find or service any concerns… Calling the HVAC company right away was the best decision I made, because the situation was bad! The HVAC professional who assessed my HVAC system told me that I had broken the compressor. He wasn’t sure what had caused it to break, although he assured me that it would need to be upgraded. The condenser unit was over 10 years old, so there was no point in repairing it… Unfortunately, a new condenser unit was going to set me back quite a bit financially, but there was no other option. It did not make sense to service the condenser unit and I desperately needed it to run my AC. Thankfully, I had some currency saved up so I could afford to purchase a new condenser unit.
